Aalto Studios is headquartered in the new Marsio building right at the heart of the Otaniemi Campus of Aalto University in Espoo, Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also host a collection of facilities at Otakaari 7 and and Otakaari 5L.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our old headquarters, still featuring sound production facilities, workshops for textiles, wood and metal, our Fablab and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Otaniemi buildings are typically open to the public Mon-Fri 9.00-16.00. Out-of-hours access can be arranged for some of our production facilities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Public transport<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The Metro<\/a> (subway) is the most convenient way to get to us. The closest stop to Aalto Studios in Espoo is Aalto University<\/a>, just a 2 minute walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The light rail tram line 15<\/a> connects Otaniemi to eastern and northern suburbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local Bus Route 111<\/a> runs from western Espoo and can help you with that last mile or two when traveling to Otakaari 5 and 7.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Biking<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Helsinki and Espoo have extensive bike lanes and the terrain is relatively flat. Otaniemi is about 10km from downtown Helsinki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City Bike system<\/a> has a number of depots in Otaniemi, letting pick up and return a bike for a quick hop around the campus. Get the app and go.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Take a taxi<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

For a 10km ride from Helsinki centre, expect a taxi fare in the range of 40-50\u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is situated 22km from Otaniemi. Expect a taxi fare in the range of 60-80\u20ac.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
