Room 010 or The Office in Space 21. Vuorimiehentie 2, a-wing, 02150 Espoo, Finland.

Students and staff in Aalto University. Contact us directly, if you are outside the organiziation but would like to use the PhotoRobot.

  • How large are the files?

hi-res jpgs are around 3-6 MB and normally around 108-216 photos are taken per object so ~1 GB in total. Raw photos are around 20-35 Mb so ~5 GB in total. The photogrammetry files are also around 1GB in the highest quality, but with level of detail export they can be 100 KB if need be. For easy use on sites like Sketchfab 90MB or under is a good limit.

  • What is the max size and weight of an object?

around 70 cm and 40 kg.

  • Using the PhotoRobot for commercial purposes

It is possible, though because Aalto University Foundation is a non-profit we can’t be profit seeking – that said we also can’t offer substantial reductions compared to commercially available outlets.
