Welcome to Aalto Creatives Demo Day where this spring’s creative industry pre-incubator participants take the stage to pitch their business concepts in front of an expert jury. The teams’ versatile startups are rooted in fashion, design, architecture, music, augmented reality (AR), art, digital modeling and fabrication, games and media.
In addition to highlighting creative industry innovations, the event delves into the theme of investing in creative industry companies. For the panel discussion we have invited Founding Partner Petri Rajahalme from FOV Ventures, Finance and Operations Manager Linda Hasi from Innovestor, Head of Investment Niki Leskinen from Aurora Studios and CEO Marja-Liisa Permikangas from Finnish Textile and Fashion. The panelist share their insights on emerging trends, growth strategies, risk management and investing in intellectual property. The panel discussion is moderated by event’s presenter Johanna ’Nunnu’ Karppinen.
In the pitching session, the pre-incubator teams test their pitching skills by delivering three-minute pitches and receive valuable feedback from a jury of experts. The jury of experts are Director Kati Uusi-Rauva from EIT Culture & Creativity North, Business Coach Fredrik Sirén from Metropolia UAS and our two panelists Petri Rajahalme and Marja-Liisa Permikangas.
Following the stage programme, we welcome everyone to stay for coffee, snacks and networking. Registration is free, but mandatory. Places are limited, so act fast to secure your spot.
The event is hybrid, if you would like to watch the event online choose ’attending online’ in the registration and you will receive the link to stream.
