We welcome all students, staff and friends to Aalto Studios Gallery, as we are hosting an exhibition of Tiina Paju, a graphic artist, illustrator and cartoonist.
The exhibition “Opiskelijanumero 11658” displays graphic artist Tiina Paju’s works from four decades. The artist herself was accepted into University of Art and Design Helsinki (Taideteollinen korkeakoulu) as the student number 11658. The works at Otakaari 7 consist of illustrations and comic strips, of which the majority are made using 3D technique. The artist describes her pictures to be somewhere between drawings and photographs.
Paju’s art reflects on how much tangible life events overlap with written history. The possibility to depict one’s inner experiences and thinking is also explored in Paju’s work.

The opening event for the exhibition takes place at our Otakaari 7B gallery lobby on Thursday, the 30th of August at 16:00. Paju’s art will be up in the Gallery from 30.8. until 25.9. and will be free of cost for all visitors. Doors are open every weekday from 8:00 until 15:30.
