Record audio podcasts in a dedicated 4 person recording room, with comfy chairs and sunlight. Situated on the 2nd floor of the Marsio building, the studio offers stunning views over the downstairs event space.
Featuring a Røde Podcaster 2 unit with 4 dedicated microphones, to which you can add a guest over a phone call, too.
User guide
Check the user guide out in advance to make sure you have all you need. For example, you’ll need to supply your own storage media; a fast UHS-I microSD card or a USB-C drive.

Be sure to hit the ⭐️ Favorite button to quickly find it again.
Location
On the second floor of the new Marsio building, right in the main lobby when entering the floor.
For now, you’ll need to access the studio with a Aalto staff Cliq key, or via assistance from the Marsio Info desk.

Accessibility in brief
The entry to the building features powered doors with low thresholds, and the second floor is easily reachable via an elevator.
The door to the Podcast Studio is a regular hinged door, with a twist lock requiring some grip strength. There is also a slight threshold due to acoustic insulation.
The space is tight, but furniture can easily be moved.
Restroom and cafeteria services are easiest to access on the entry floor.
