Aalto University has received a grant of EUR 250,000 from Supercell, the gaming company. Game development is one of the core interests of Aalto Studios so we’re really looking forward to see what kind of future collaboration projects this might generate.
The feeling is mutual as Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen is excited about the future as well.
“Finland is already one of the best places in the world to develop games. We believe that the multidisciplinary bedrock of Aalto and, in particular, the Aalto Studios project might play a crucial role in making it even better. Aalto Studios might well become the best product development, research and educational hub in the world”, he says.
