The A Pod is a small, dedicated space for recording interviews, narration or podcasts with a friend. You can have people call in and host a small teleconference, or just settle in by yourself to record a piece of spoken word.

MAINTENANCE IN JAN 2026 – The A Pod is offline for a bit as we update the hardware a bit. For recording, the Podcast Studio is open for business as usual.

It can be used for recording as usual, but we will be turning it more into an editing space, with options like Descript and Fission at your disposal.

Location

On the second floor of the new Marsio building, right in the main lobby when entering the floor.

To access the A Pod, note the code shown in Your Bookings in Takeout.

Accessibility in brief

The A Pod requires assistance from the Info Desk for wheelchair users. The space is small and has a high threshold.

The entry to the building features powered doors with low thresholds, and the second floor is easily reachable via an elevator.

Restroom and cafeteria services are easiest to access on the entry floor.
