For viewing material in the DCP format at the Odeion Screening Auditorium, either send an existing file to Esa Mattila at esa.mattila@aalto.fi beforehand using https://aalto.filemail.com, or bring the media file at least an hour in advance.
We also support Gofilex based distribution.
For other file types, media conversion facilities and assistance are available. Our academic users can book the unit for themselves, if trained to use it. For others, contact us for support details.
- Import from the image ProRes (minimum 422 HQ), TIFF or DPX.
- h264 mp4 is not supported.
- Figure 2K or 4K, HD or UHD are not recommended.
- Sound uncompressed wav 24bit 48khz, mono, stereo and multichannel.
