A view of the teaching studio stage

Teaching Studio

A state-of-the-art space for creating high-quality teaching videos and other video productions. The studio is designed for teachers who want to make their content more engaging and professional, whether for online or hybrid use.

With two wall-sized LED displays, a large prompter, flexible lighting, and an easy-to-use control system, the studio makes it simple to produce impactful content. Presenters can choose from different setups, such as interactive Fireside Chat, inspiring TED Talk style lectures, or Hybrid Teaching sessions where remote and on-site students connect seamlessly.

To gain usage and booking rights for the Teaching Studio, you need to attend a two-hour introduction session organized by the Teacher Services media team. These sessions are held about once a month, and you can also contact the media team to arrange a tailored introduction for your needs.

Typical use cases include guest lectures, course introductions, panel discussions, research talks and hybrid teaching demos—but every teaching case is unique, so feel free to reach out to the Teaching Studio team to learn more.

The stage can also be opened into the Living Room, transforming the studio into an event space. The Event Studio is curated by Aalto Communications.
