Aalto Studios was looking for 2-4 STUDENTS to complete an inventory project in our equipment lending service (Takeout).
Your role In this role, your primary job is to take items from our inventory, print an asset / ID tag for the item, write a short description of the item, and enter it into our Takeout software. You will work closely with our inventory manager and our software development manager.
This is a part-time, fixed term job (15.03.2021 – 15.05.2021) with an hourly paid contract. Working hours may vary on a weekly basis, but max. 160 hours in total.
Your location and team The work takes place at the Aalto University Otaniemi campus and you will report to Otakaari 7B (Takeout storage), ground floor. Lassi Savola and Oliver Manner will be your daily contact for the project.
Your experience and motivation You enjoy detailed work, have a service-minded attitude and good IT skills. You are able to identify problems and ask for assistance or troubleshoot. You enjoy working in a team and you know how to support others and ask for help from a colleague if necessary. In addition to teamwork, you are solution oriented and able to work independently.
To succeed, you will need excellent communication skills and a good command of English or Finnish. Any previous inventory background and electronics experience is a real bonus.
