The Web Studio at Aalto Studios helps you explore new ways of using the Internet to build new experiences. 

We’re here for all Aalto people; student, staff or faculty. Whether you’re setting up a web service, developing software or trying to decide which social media channels to use– get in touch. We know a ton about internet communication design and development, and are currently investigating how to break out from the rectangular app or browser window into the AR/Mixed Reality space.

We can provide personal guidance for any stage of your project, from design strategy and purchasing planning to implementation detail and review. No project is too small, no idea too big. Ask us questions, show us your problems, tell us what you’d like to learn.

And in the spirit of Aalto Studios, we can also help you with building media related software prototypes and experiments. The top end facilities in Marsio let you try out ambitious spatial projects, and the electronics workshop in Fablab let’s you explore haptic, interactive products.

We’re also partnering with Aalto Communications for providing a place for your podcasts, right here at Aalto. With all the great production facilities at Aalto Studios, we can provide help in setting up a roadmap for getting your own show on the air.
